Husky Helicopter Tanks are water shuttle tanks designed to be transported by helicopter and set down into forestry areas for a water supply for the firefighters whether in remote areas or not.
Material: Heavy duty 40oz. reinforced PVC construction or available in a
“Potable” NSF 61 approved material for drinking water.
Husky's® 72 gallon and 134 gallon Helicopter Tanks are designed in a tetrahedron shape for excellent stability when being transported or just sitting on the ground.
The 72, and 134 gallon models have a 4" fill port allows quick filling and access to the inside of the tank if needed and a 3/4" flanged outlet
The two smaller sizes also come with a heavy duty 1" reinforced hose with a durable spigot.
The 240, 300, and 360 gallon models are built with a round base and top and taper from bottom to top. (a Truncated Cone Shape)
The 240, 300, and 360 gallon model's standard fittings are one 4" fill port and one 2" NPT Female Rigid Flanges and Ball Valve
Both shapes have excellent stability when being transported or just sitting on the ground.
Can be transported by helicopter or truck.
Heavy duty harness can be tied off to a tree to keep from rolling on steep slopes.
Repairable with field repair kit (Optional; call 877-844-3101 for repair kit)
Great for filling back packs or for drinking water (Potable model)
