Class III (3) vests offer the greatest worker visibility in both complex backgrounds and through a full range of body movements. This type of vest should be worn when conditions include highly congested areas, complex lane shifts, or complex work zones. Visibility for Class 3 vests is enhanced beyond Class 2 by the addition of background and reflective materials to the arms. Class 3 vests have sleeves.
Additional vests: ANSI Class II Safety Vests, Non ANSI Compliant Vests
Anyone familiar with survey work knows that safety is always the first priority in any job setting.
Class III vests are available for those in the riskiest work zones where clear visibility is absolutely essential, such as high-congestion construction sites.
Like Class II vests, these are made of high-visibility material with reflective strips, but include additional strips on the sleeves to enhance their safety value.
These vests come in a range of high-visibility colors, and materials range from light summer nylon for breathability, to heavier winter designs.
Many feature gusseted pockets for tools, as well as zip closures. Some even feature hidden back pockets.
All designs are OSHA approved and will enhance individual safety on any job site and in any weather condition.
